Job summary

Catholic Healthcare Limited is seeking a casual laundry worker in Tumut to provide high-quality laundry services for residents, including washing, folding, sorting and returning items to rooms.

You will work in a cooperative team, maintain safety, and follow policies to protect residents and staff. Availability for 7am-11am shifts and a caring, reliable approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people.
• Good communication skills.
• A reliable team player.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety.
• Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide laundry services which includes collecting and washing personal clothing, folding and sorting, distributing personal items back to resident rooms
• Supporting your peers and maintaining a co operative team spirit
• Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures

• Location - Tumut
• Casual shifts available - shift times 7am-11am
• Pay rate – $33.20 per hour + superannuation
• Not-for-profit employer, so pay less tax!

As a member of the Housekeeping team at Blakeney Lodge, Tumut, you will be providing high quality laundry services for our residents within our residential aged care home, ensuring residents belongings are clean and presentable.
