Job summary

Catholic Healthcare Blakeney Lodge in NSW is seeking a reliable Catering Assistant who may also cover housekeeping shifts to join our hospitality team. In this hands‑on role, you’ll support daily food services and help create a positive dining experience for our residents.

Permanent part-time shifts with casual shifts available. Competitive hourly rate ($33.20 base rate) plus superannuation and not-for-profit benefits, with opportunities to transfer across 40+ locations in NSW and QLD.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering, hospitality, or aged care (preferred).
• Sound understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Reliable, team‑focused, and resident‑centred.

Blakeney Lodge, a Residential Aged Care home, is seeking a reliable and caring Catering Assistant who may be open to a Housekeeping shift also to join our friendly hospitality team. In this hands‑on role, you’ll support daily food services and help create a positive dining experience for our residents.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assisting with meal preparation, plating, and service

• Supporting residents with warm, respectful meal service
• Working collaboratively with chefs and care teams

About you:

• Experience in catering, hospitality, or aged care (preferred)
• Sound understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Reliable, team‑focused, and resident‑centred
• Ability to work flexible casual shifts
