Job summary

Port Macquarie Dermatology is seeking a skilled Dermal Clinician/ Laser Technician to join our dynamic team and provide expert dermatology and aesthetic care to our patients.

You will assist the dermatologist in surgical and non-surgical procedures and operate state-of-the-art energy-based devices such as Sciton Broadband Light, PicoCare and AviClear after training. The role requires a laser safety certificate and relevant dermal therapy or beauty therapy certification.

Qualifications

• Certification in dermal therapy, beauty therapy or related field.
• Experience in dermatology, medical or aesthetic practice.
• Valid Laser Safety Certificate.
• Familiarity with medical grade devices and lasers.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the dermatologist in surgical and non-surgical procedures.
• Providing safe, ethical and comprehensive care pre-, during- and post-treatment.
• Providing facial treatments by Rationale after training.

We are a specialist dermatology practice in the beautiful Mid North Coast providing a wide range of dermatology and aesthetic services.

The successful candidate would play a crucial role in providing expert care and guidance to patients seeking dermatological solutions.

Responsibilities of the position include:

Assisting the dermatologist in surgical & non-surgical procedures

Utilising state of the art energy based devices after appropriate training (including Sciton Broadband light, PicoCare and AviClear lasers)

Providing safe, ethical and comprehensive care prior to, during & post treatment

Providing facial treatments by Rationale after training

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

The ability to work as part of a team and independently

Be able to work 3 to 5 days a week.

Be well presented, confident and committed to providing a safe and comfortable experience for our patients

Certification in dermal therapy, beauty therapy or related field

Experience in working in a dermatology, medical or aesthetic practice

Valid Laser Safety Certificate

Familiarity with medical grade devices & laser

Remuneration is commensurate with the successful candidate's level of experience and qualifications.
