Job summary

New Touch Industries in Bayswater, Victoria, is seeking a hard-working Laser Operator to join the Afternoon Shift or Night Shift Team. You will set up and operate Trumpf laser cutters, manage production plans, and handle material loading.

This role requires sheet metal laser operator experience, physical fitness, and the ability to work autonomously or in a team. Training and progression opportunities are offered within a supportive, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Sheet metal/Laser Operator experience is required.
• Be fit, healthy and reliable.
• Experience in a factory environment is preferred.
• Competent in basic computer knowledge.
• Able to work autonomously or in a close-knit team.

About the role:

• Setting and operating Trumpf lasers
• Setting up production plans and automation
• Unloading/loading materials
• Forklift Driving
• General stores and warehousing duties
• Quality inspections
• A good level of fitness is also required as the role is physical and involves lifting.

Job Requirements:

• The role is Afternoon shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm) or Night shift (8:30pm - 7:00am).
• Sheet metal/Laser Operator experience is a must
• Be fit, healthy and reliable
• Have experience in a factory environment
• Competent in basic computer knowledge
• Able to work effectively autonomously or in a close knit team
