Wisely is expanding its Field Service Division and we’re seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to keep large mining excavators swinging across multiple sites in Queensland.

You will diagnose faults, perform breakdown repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance to maximise production while following safety protocols. Pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening apply; HR licence is desirable.

Formación

• Trade certificate recognised in Australia for diesel fitting or heavy diesel mechanics.
• Experience with large mining excavators is essential.
• Exposure to Liebherr, Hitachi, CAT and Komatsu equipment preferred.
• Demonstrated diagnostic, hydraulic and mechanical repair skills.

Responsabilidades

• Fault finding and diagnostics across mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Breakdown response, troubleshooting and repairs.
• Major component changeouts and mechanical repairs.
• Preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.
• Work safely and efficiently to minimise downtime.

THE ROLE – KEEP THE BIG DIGGERS SWINGING

You’ll be getting hands on with large mining excavators, keeping critical production equipment running at its best.

Your work will include:

• Fault finding and diagnostics across mechanical and hydraulic systems
• Breakdown response, troubleshooting and repairs
• Major component changeouts and mechanical repairs
• Preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
• Working safely and efficiently to minimise downtime

GOT WHAT IT TAKES?

We’re looking for Fitters who bring:

• Australian recognised Trade Cert - Diesel Fitter/Heavy Diesel Mechanic
• Proven experience on large mining excavators – essential
• Experience across Liebherr, Hitachi, CAT and Komatsu
• Strong diagnostic, hydraulic and mechanical repair capabilities
• Confidence working independently in a field service environment
• A safety first attitude and pride in quality workmanship
• Current driver's licence (HR desirable)
• Ability to pass a pre employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
