WesTrac Cat in Welshpool, WA, is seeking a Heavy Diesel Fitter Specialist to support CAT mining machinery on FIFO from Perth. The role emphasizes hands-on technical leadership, maintenance planning, and exceptional customer support for the PSG branch and customer sites.

Reporting to the Project Support Supervisor, the Heavy Diesel Fitter Specialist will have strong communication skills, with exceptional customer support at the forefront of their interactions.
The Heavy Diesel Fitter Specialist is responsible for completing daily, weekly, and monthly reporting as agreed with the PSG Branch Manager with emphasis on providing team lead, hands on technical assistance and best in class support to the customer's site, maintenance work teams, and the Westrac project work group.
PSG is a FIFO service department supporting WA with skilled maintenance personnel. We handle warranty support, shutdowns, and labour hire roles, equipped with service vehicles and tools.
This position is FIFO from Perth, however, support with relocation to Perth or interstate FIFO may be considered to the right applicant as per policy.
