Mader Group is seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to join our Specialist Services team across Queensland. You will work on a range of mining equipment with emphasis on hydraulic excavators, diggers and drilling gear, offering variety and competitive rates.

Ideal candidates have digger or drill experience, a minimum of 3 years post-trade, and a solid mining or OEM background, with strong diagnostic skills and a commitment to safety.

• Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent.
• Strong digger/excavator or drill experience highly regarded.
• Minimum 3 years post-trade experience.
• Strong mining or OEM background.
• Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship.

Responsabilidades

• Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs on heavy mining equipment.
• Breakdown repairs and field service support.
• Shutdown and planned maintenance.
• Preventative maintenance and component change-outs.
• Working across multiple mine sites and equipment types.
• Maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and reliability.

Heavy Diesel Fitters | Diggers & Drills | Up to $95/hr

Mader is looking for experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to join our growing Specialist Services team across Queensland.

About the role

This is not a standard single-site position. You’ll work across breakdowns, shutdowns, planned maintenance and field service, gaining exposure to a diverse range of mining equipment and sites.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience on:

• Hydraulic excavators / diggers
• Drills – Sandvik, Epiroc and similar
• CAT
• Komatsu
• Hitachi
• Liebherr
• Terex

Key responsibilities

• Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs on heavy mining equipment
