Job summary

Oakey Beef Exports, part of the NH Foods Group, is seeking reliable Labourers to join our busy meat processing team in Oakey. This hands-on role suits physically fit individuals who can work in a fast-paced environment and handle meat products safely.

You will be trained on all processes, with full-time hours and options for overtime. Previous livestock handling is desirable, and we value safety, teamwork and a strong work ethic.

• Handling and lifting meat products safely and efficiently
• Packing, labelling and sorting meat products
• Cutting, trimming, and sorting meat products
• Loading, unloading, and moving products safely
• Heard cattle through the race into slaughter floor
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Following workplace health and safety procedure
• Following animal welfare procedure

What experience are we looking for?

Working in a production environment can be fast-paced and physically demanding. Experience working in such conditions, as well as an eagerness to learn and attend work each day, will be an asset. You will be:
