Job summary

Port Stephens Council is seeking energetic Labourers to join our civil operations team. This permanent, full-time role offers 38 hours per week with a 4-day week option, a base salary of 63,330–66,473 AUD plus 12% superannuation, an adverse work conditions allowance, and a retention uplift.

Worksites include Raymond Terrace or Nelson Bay Depot. You will perform manual handling tasks across civil maintenance and construction, participate in toolbox talks, and operate small plant tools as part of

Qualifications

• Basic literacy and numeracy to understand worksite documents.
• Civil labouring skills with safe manual handling techniques.
• WorkCover General Construction Induction or ability to obtain before start.
• Ability to obtain Roads & Traffic Authority Controller Certificate and LR Licence after commencement.

We're seeking energetic, reliable, and motivated Labourer's to join our team and share our same passion for civil related projects.

As a Labourer at PSC, you will deliver a range of civil operations, including construction, maintenance and asphalt duties, working with your supervisor and team members to apply your skills to projects across the Port Stephens area.

• This is a permanent opportunity - working full-time 38 hours / week + access to a flexible working arrangement such as a 4-day week.
• Base Salary Range: $63,330 to $66,473 pa based on 38 hours / week + 12% superannuation + $908 adverse work conditions allowance + $2,562 retention allowance
• You will be starting work from Raymond Terrace or Nelson Bay Depot
