Job summary

Toowoomba Regional Council is seeking a Labourer to support the Road Construction team in delivering civil works across roads, drainage, earthworks, and general maintenance. You will join a skilled crew and contribute to projects that keep our region moving and safe for the community.

Successful candidates will work hands-on, be prepared for physical work, and engage in problem-solving on the ground with a collaborative team that values safety and quality.

Qualifications

  • Current C Class Driver’s Licence
  • Readiness to obtain WHS General Construction Induction (White Card) prior to commencement
  • Year 10 education or equivalent capability

Responsibilities

  • Deliver civil works across road construction, drainage, earthworks and general maintenance.
  • Work as part of a skilled team across road construction, drainage and related projects.
  • Contribute to safety and efficiency in the region's road network and public spaces.

The RoadConstruction team carries out a broad range of civilconstruction activities with projects such as road construction,bridge construction, intersection upgrades, installation ofculverts, footpaths, kerb, and channel.

TheConstruction & Maintenance Central (CMC) Team delivers capital andoperational works that maintain and improve safety, serviceabilityand efficiency of the region’s road network and integratedtransport system.
