Within the Environment andCommunity Services Group, the Property Services Branch isresponsible for a vast array of diverse assets from iconic HeritageListed assets such as the Empire Theatre and Toowoomba City Hall,through to libraries, aquatic centres, depots, administration andother key community buildings, work in parks on parksinfrastructure, as well as contributing to the maintenance of keyroad infrastructure such as traffic lights and street lighting.Spanning almost 13,000km2, the team works diligently to guaranteeessential community services are maintained in every corner of theregion.
As a Bricklayer at ToowoombaRegional Council, you will be responsible for carrying out a widerange of bricklaying, paving, concreting, and general laboringactivities to support the construction, maintenance and repair ofCouncil facilities and assets across the Toowoomba Region.
In this position, you will workunder general supervision.
The preferred candidate will be required toundertake a Criminal History Check and a pre-employment medicalassessment to assess their ability to perform the genuineoccupational requirements of the position.
