Job summary

Toowoomba Regional Council is seeking a dedicated concrete tradesperson to join our Construction & Maintenance Central team in Charlton. This permanent full-time role runs 6.30am–3.30pm, Monday to Friday, with a nine-day fortnight for better work-life balance.

Based at the Principal Depot, you will build and repair pram ramps, footpaths and kerbs. We offer 33.17 AUD per hour, a fortnightly base of 2,520.64 AUD, 17.5% annual leave loading, up to 12.65% superannuation, and access to wellbeing

Qualifications

• WHS Competency (White Card) for CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry, or equivalent, or a willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
• Year 10 education OR a combination of experience, qualification and competence which enables you to perform all duties of the position.
• Sound numeracy, literacy and communication skills, with a can-do attitude.

The Construction & Maintenance Central (CMC) Team undertake capital and operational works to maintain and improve safety, serviceability and efficiency of the region’s road network and integrated transport system.
