Job summary

ARW Homes Mackay is seeking a hardworking Labourer to join our residential construction team. You will support trades, help with site clean-up, loading materials, and maintain safety on site.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
• Strong team player with good communication and reliability.
• White Card holder or willing to obtain before start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist trades and supervisors on residential building sites.
• General labouring and site clean-up.
• Loading/unloading materials and basic handling of tools.
• Maintain a safe, tidy and compliant workspace.
• Support day-to-day site operations.

ARW Homes Mackay is looking for a hardworking, reliable Labourer to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the construction industry with a supportive and respected local builder.

About the Role

You will work alongside our trades and supervisors, assisting with day-to-day tasks on residential building sites. Your duties may include:

• General labouring and site clean-up
• Assisting carpenters and other trades
• Loading/unloading materials
• Basic use of hand and power tools
• Maintaining a safe and tidy workspace

What We're Looking For

• Strong work ethic, and positive can-do attitude
• Can display initiative - do something that needs to be done
• Reliability - Will get the job done without follow-up
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
• Driver's licence and own transport (preferred)
• White Card (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Show common sense and maintain a safe workplace
