Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking a Caboolture-based Casual Construction Assistant to support a range of projects with consistent shifts, weekly pay, and potential permanent placement after proving your reliability. Immediate start available.

You will assist trades, perform site prep, and carry out general labouring across landscaping, construction, shopfitting and industrial sites. A White Card and a current driver’s licence help you hit the ground running.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant.
• Construction White Card.
• Current Driver Licence and reliable transport (highly preferred).
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Reliability and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Site preparation and general labouring across multiple tasks.
• Assisting qualified tradespeople on a variety of site activities.
• Cataloging and moving materials, wheelbarrowing and lifting as required.

What You'll Be Doing

Every day is different, with opportunities to work across a variety of industries including:

• Commercial and residential landscaping
• Residential and commercial construction
• Warehouse fit-outs and pallet racking installations
• Shopfitting and carpentry projects
• Demolition and strip-out work
• General labouring across manufacturing and industrial sites
• Site clean-ups and final cleans

Typical tasks include

• Site preparation and clean-up
• Wheelbarrowing materials
• Digging and trenching
• Lifting and carrying materials
• Packing and stacking
• Assisting qualified tradespeople
• General labouring duties as required

What We're Looking For

To join our team you must have:
