Job summary

Boral currently have an opportunity for a Concrete Tester to join our Orange Grove team. As a Lab Technician, you will focus on the day to day sampling and testing of high specification concrete products and casting of cylinders.

Your day will involve sampling and slump testing across multiple metro plants, generating reports, following test plans, and maintaining the lab to meet accreditation requirements. A safety-focused mindset and flexibility to work varied shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in sampling and testing concrete products.
• Ability to follow Inspection and Test Plans for production testing.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality with analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Sample concrete from multiple plants daily.
• Perform slump tests and cast cylinders.
• Generate summary reports and maintain records accurately.
• Follow Inspection and Test Plans for production and compliance testing.
• Maintain laboratory facilities to meet NATA accreditation requirements.

Your next opportunity

Boral currently have an opportunity for a Concrete Tester to join our Orange Grove team. As a Lab Technician, you will focus on the day to day sampling and testing of high specification concrete products and casting of cylinders.

Your day will involve:

• Sampling of concrete between 7 metro concrete plants
• Slump testing of concrete and casting of cylinders
• Generating summary reports and accurate record keeping
• Follow Inspection and Test Plans to carry out production and compliance testing
• Maintenance of the laboratory in accordance with NATA accreditation requirements

• Flexibility to work Monday to Saturday and shift work when required
