Job summary

Boral Limited is seeking a driven Laboratory Technician to join our Concrete business in Melbourne. You will test concrete products at the Deer Park Laboratory and contribute to trial mixes, reporting, and calibration of equipment.

We offer training, support, and development opportunities, with a full-time permanent role and flexible hours. The ideal candidate has a Lab Techniques certificate (desirable) and a willingness to learn Australian standards.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques desirable.
• Experience in Construction Material testing desirable.
• Willingness to learn test methods under Australian standards.
• Exposure to Qestlab Platform an advantage.
• Self-motivated with ability to work in a diverse team and maintain quality & safety.
• Strong attention to detail and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Testing of concrete products in a laboratory environment.
• Conducting laboratory trial mixes.
• Generating reports on test results and accurate record keeping through Qestlab.
• Calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Maintenance of the laboratory in accordance with NATA accreditation requirements.
• Assisting with quality assurance activities and other duties as required.

We are seeking a driven individual looking to advance and/or kickstart a career as Laboratory Technician within our Concrete business. In this role you will be testing concrete products at our Deer Park Laboratory.

Your Day will involve:

• Testing of concrete products in a laboratory environment;

• Maintenance of the laboratory in accordance with NATA accreditation requirements.
