Job summary

Recruitment Select is seeking a Level 1 Laboratory Technician for Nagambie, VIC. This casual position offers 38 hours per week with a rotating shift roster (Day 7:00-15:00, Afternoon 15:00-23:00, Night 23:00-07:00).

Based in Nagambie, you will perform product testing, maintain test records, calibrate equipment, prepare solutions, and ensure food safety standards are met. Suitable candidates must have prior Level 1 experience and full Australian working rights.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Level 1 Laboratory Technician.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts.
• Reliable transport and full working rights within Australia.

• Conducting product testing to determine chemical and physical characteristics.

Laboratory Technician (Level 1) – Nagambie

Recruitment Select is currently seeking an experienced Level 1 Laboratory Technician to join a well-established and highly respected organisation based in Nagambie.

This is a casual position offering 38 hours per week, with successful applicants required to work a rotating shift roster.

Shift Times

• Day Shift:7:00am to 3:00pm
• Afternoon Shift:3:00pm to 11:00pm
• Night Shift:11:00pm to 7:00am

About the Role

Key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting product testing to determine chemical and physical characteristics
• Recording and maintaining accurate test results
• Preparing bottling-related documentation and forms
• Calibrating laboratory equipment and instruments
• Maintaining calibration and testing records
• Preparing chemical solutions as required
• Monitoring and maintaining laboratory samples
• Coordinating and preparing samples for external client analysis
• Ensuring compliance with all food safety standards and procedures

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Previous experience as a Level 1 Laboratory Technician
