Job summary

CS Executive Group represents an international biotechnology company with labs in Australia. The role is a Laboratory Technician on a six-month contract, with potential extension, based in Lara, Victoria.

You will support quality testing and sample preparation for GC and HPLC analyses. Responsibilities include sample prep, loading onto GC/HPLC, reagent prep for HPLC, maintaining a safe lab environment, and proper handling of lab glassware.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Certificate or Chemistry Degree.
• Experience with maintaining cleanliness and organisation of laboratory glassware.
• Experience with reagent and sample preparation.
• Able to communicate with the ability to work autonomously and take ownership of tasks.

Our client is partof an international biotechnology company withtwo brands focused on both domestic and commercial markets with multiple operational areas including manufacturing, sales, and distribution within the Agricultural industry.

One of our client's brands is Australia's largest independentmanufacturer of crop protection productsproviding toll formulation, regulatory, global procurement, storage and handling, laboratory, and product development services. The other brand is a fully integrated manufacturer ofhome garden productsand one of Australia's largest suppliers in this sector. They control all production processes from raw material sourcing, composting, bagging, and distribution.

THE ROLE

Are you a Laboratory Technician seeking an exciting opportunity to join a cutting-edge testing laboratory and contribute to the ongoing quality of product testing? If yes, please read on!

This is a six-month contract opportunity with the possibility of an extension. Enjoy the flexibility of starting between 7 am and 8 am to suit your schedule.

Main Responsibilities

Sample preparation according to test methods.

Loading samples onto GC and HPLC instruments.

Reagent preparation for HPLC analysis.

Demonstrated ability to work safely in a laboratory environment and proficiently merge samples for analysis.

Experience in chemical preparation and laboratory sample preparation.

Operate, clean and maintain laboratory equipment.

SELECTION CRITERIA
