Recruitment Select is seeking a Level 1 Laboratory Technician for Nagambie, VIC. This casual position offers 38 hours per week with a rotating shift roster (Day 7:00-15:00, Afternoon 15:00-23:00, Night 23:00-07:00).

Based in Nagambie, you will perform product testing, maintain test records, calibrate equipment, prepare solutions, and ensure food safety standards are met. Suitable candidates must have prior Level 1 experience and full Australian working rights.

• Previous experience as a Level 1 Laboratory Technician.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts.
• Reliable transport and full working rights within Australia.

Responsibilities

• Conducting product testing to determine chemical and physical characteristics.
• Recording and maintaining accurate test results.
• Calibrating laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Maintaining calibration and testing records.
• Preparing chemical solutions as required.
• Monitoring and maintaining laboratory samples.
• Coordinating and preparing samples for external client analysis.
• Ensuring compliance with all food safety standards and procedures.
