Job summary

Verathon Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Technical Consultant for Australia to deliver advanced support for our software solutions, including pre- and post-live services, customer training, and connectivity design for laboratory environments.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of laboratory information systems, TCP/IP networks and server infrastructure, with travel up to 20% and occasional after-hours work as needed to meet customer contracts.

Qualifications

Minimum Associate’s degree in business management, Computer Science or related field with 3 years of related working experience, or at least 5 years in service implementations, technical services, project management or clinical laboratories.
Alternative combination of education and experience may apply to obtain comparable knowledge and skills.
Willingness to travel up to 20% and work occasional after-hours as required by customer contracts.

Responsibilities

Resolve and respond to customer requests and support tickets in a polite, professional and timely manner.
Log support calls into CRM and handle unassigned tickets submitted by email, web or telephone.
Design and implement connectivity solutions for customers using Data Innovations software.
Provide advanced level support from pre-implementation through post-live support.
Provide customers with training on the company's products and solutions.
Maintain knowledge of product releases and features.
Perform demonstrations/presentations to customers; participate in trade shows and events.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure readiness for new releases and project completion
