Job summary

ALS Coal – Gladstone/Biloela, QLD is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to join our Callide Mine Site on a permanent full-time basis. The role involves coal sampling, testing, and maintaining laboratory operations on a rotating day/night roster.

You will perform manual handling tasks, prepare samples, and assist with analysis while upholding safety and quality standards. Flexibility to travel between mine sites and work in full PPE is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform manual handling tasks safely.
• Experience with coal sampling and testing is desirable.
• Previous laboratory experience is desirable.
• Experience in mining or resource industries is a plus.
