The Westin & Four Points by Sheraton Brisbane is seeking a Kitchen Steward for part-time shifts at our 111 Mary Street property. You will help keep the kitchen clean, polished, and organized, supporting the dining operations and service flow under the Chief Steward and Executive Chef.

The role suits someone with keen attention to detail, teamwork, and flexible availability across a seven-day roster, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail in cleaning tasks.
• Ability to build positive relationships with team members.
• Genuine enthusiasm for the hospitality industry.
• Good verbal communication with kitchen staff.
• Available to work over a 7-day rotating roster.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage the dishwashing process, ensuring all equipment and areas are cleaned to high hygiene standards.
• Ensure thorough cleaning of operating supplies and back-of-house areas.
• Guarantee compliance with health, safety and company policies.
• Attend meetings, share updates with the team, and follow up on actions.
• Maintain an organized back-of-house, address maintenance and operational issues.
