Job summary

Vista Hospitality Group is seeking a Kitchen Steward to join our voco Brisbane City Centre team. You will support breakfast setup and buffet operations, maintain cleanliness and safety standards, and assist the Chef brigade as needed to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

You should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, possess a can-do attitude, and be physically capable of repetitive tasks. This role is based in Brisbane and supports our vibrant hotel operation.

Qualifications

• Experience as a kitchen steward or in a high-volume kitchen environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene policies.
• Strong eye for detail and ability to keep work areas organized.
• Positive, proactive team player with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set up and pack down of buffet breakfast.
• Handle all glassware, crockery, and buffet display ware with care.
• Support the Chef brigade with basic food preparation as required.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and ensure a great guest experience.
• Maintain health and safety standards across the heart-of-house area.
