EVT Limited is seeking a Kitchen Hand for Rydges Mount Panorama Bathurst to support chefs and keep the kitchen clean and well stocked. Casual shifts including weekends and evenings are available, with training provided for those new to hospitality.

You'll contribute to food safety, teamwork and fast-paced service in a dynamic hotel and entertainment network across EVT properties. Right to work in Australia is required.

• Keep the kitchen, equipment, utensils and work areas clean, tidy and sanitised
• Wash dishes, cookware, glassware and cutlery promptly, keeping the kitchen stocked
• Support chefs with basic food preparation and produce handling
• Receive, unpack and store deliveries and rotate stock
• Follow all food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures
• Manage waste and keep storerooms and back-of-house areas organised

Key Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen, equipment, utensils and work areas clean, tidy and sanitised throughout each shift
• Wash dishes, cookware, glassware and cutlery promptly, keeping the kitchen stocked with clean items
• Support chefs with basic food preparation, such as washing, peeling and chopping produce
• Receive, unpack and store deliveries correctly, rotating stock and following food safety standards
• Follow all food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures
• Manage waste and recycling, and keep storerooms, coolrooms and back of house areas organised

What You'll Bring

• A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to jump in wherever the team needs you
• Availability to work casual shifts, including weekends, evenings and public holidays
• Previous kitchen hand or hospitality experience is preferred, but not essential as training is provided
• A good understanding of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene, or a keen willingness to learn
• Ability to stay on your feet, work at pace and lift and carry as required
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Right to work in Australia
