Job summary

Tamborine Mountain Glades is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Hand to support our kitchen team across restaurant, café, weddings and events at Mount Tamborine. This casual, temporary role focuses on keeping the kitchen clean, organised and efficient while assisting during busy service periods.

Candidates should be reliable, punctual and comfortable in a fast-paced kitchen. No formal experience required, attitude and reliability are valued, with training provided in a unique rainforest setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial kitchen is advantageous.
• Willingness to learn and support the team.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Washing dishes, cookware and kitchen equipment.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the kitchen.
• Cleaning kitchen surfaces, floors and work areas.
• Assisting with basic food preparation when required.
• Receiving, moving and storing kitchen supplies.
• Supporting chefs and the wider kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Following food safety and workplace safety procedures.
• Assisting with functions, weddings, conferences and special events.
