Job summary

Tamborine Mountain Glades is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Hand to support our kitchen team across restaurant, café, weddings and events at Mount Tamborine. This casual, temporary role focuses on keeping the kitchen clean, organised and efficient while assisting during busy service periods.

Candidates should be reliable, punctual and comfortable in a fast-paced kitchen. No formal experience required, attitude and reliability are valued, with training provided in a unique rainforest setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial kitchen is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Washing dishes, cookware and kitchen equipment.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the kitchen.

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Hand to join our vibrant team at our restaurant, café, and events venue in Mount Tamborine. This temporary, casual role is perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in the hospitality and catering industry. As a Kitchen Hand, you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations, ensuring a clean and efficient workspace, and contributing to the overall success of our culinary team., We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our team at Tamborine Mountain Glades.

This is a hands-on role supporting our chefs and kitchen team to keep service running smoothly. You will play an important part in maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen across our restaurant, café, weddings, conferences and events.

Key responsibilities include:

• Washing dishes, cookware and kitchen equipment
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the kitchen
• Cleaning kitchen surfaces, floors and work areas

• Flexible to work across weekdays, weekends and public holidays as required
• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, restaurant or hospitality environment is an advantage, but attitude and reliability are most important., Whether you already have kitchen experience or are looking to build your hospitality skills, you will be working alongside an experienced team in one of South East Queensland's most unique natural settings.
