Job summary

Compass Group Pty Limited is seeking a Chef to join our education catering team. You will prepare fresh, nutritious meals at the college, contribute to menu ideas and monitor stock with a focus on reducing waste.

The role supports healthy, allergen-safe food practices, follows HACCP standards, and works primarily during school hours with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional weekend shifts. On-site parking and a supportive team enhance the environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
• Current Working with Children Check & National police check required.
• Experience cooking in bulk quantities.
• Strong knowledge of allergen management and food safety.
• Passionate about healthy and nutritious food.
• Weekend availability for occasional shifts.
• Self-driven and enthusiastic.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Strong communication skills.
