Job summary

Yackandandah Health is seeking a reliable Kitchen Hand to assist with meal preparation, plating, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen in our aged care setting. This part-time role offers a rewarding opportunity to support residents with nutritious meals.

You will work closely with our kitchen team, follow food safety standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining environment. Prior kitchen experience is preferred, and a current NDIS check or willingness to obtain is required.

• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

The Role

We're seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen HandAssistant to join our caring team on a Part-Time basis. You'll help prepare and serve nutritious meals that bring comfort and joy to our residents, while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen environment.

What you will bring:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in Aged Care highly desirable but not essential
• Currently hold and maintain a NDIS Check (or willing to obtain)
