Job summary

EVT Group’s Moonlight Cinema Adelaide is hiring experienced Kitchen Crew for the summer season at Botanic Park. You will prepare, cook and deliver high‑quality food, supporting smooth kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment.

Nights and weekends availability is essential from mid‑November through early February. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of kitchen experience, knowledge of food safety, and a valid RSA with Australian work rights.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year kitchen experience, preferably in high-volume or event settings.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and workplace health & safety.
• Trade qualification and Food Safety Supervisor Certification (preferred).
• Team player with strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and assemble food items according to recipes and portion controls.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards.
• Restock and rotate stock, and assist with prep stations during service.
• Support smooth service flow with front-of-house and kitchen teams.
• Monitor kitchen equipment and report hazards or issues promptly.

About the Role

Moonlight Cinema Adelaide is seeking experienced Kitchen Crew to join the team for the summer at the iconic Botanic Park. This hands‑on casual role is integral to preparing, cooking, and delivering high‑quality food to our guests and supporting smooth kitchen operations across the event season. You’ll thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑focused environment and contribute to creating memorable guest experiences. You must be available to work nights, including weekends, from mid-November through early mid‑February.
