Job summary

Bankstown Sports Club is seeking a casual Kitchen Production Cook for Cornerstone Café to join our busy production kitchen. You will contribute to high-volume food production, delivering consistently plated dishes to our members and guests.

Ideal candidates are reliable, organised and able to work under pressure while maintaining quality. Initially available on Mondays and Thursdays, with potential shifts during peak periods and a roster that may include Wednesdays and Fridays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cook, Production Cook or Kitchen Team Member.
• Experience working in a high-volume café, restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain quality under pressure.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Availability to work Mondays and Thursdays initially.
• Flexibility to move to a Monday, Wednesday and Friday roster.
• Availability for additional shifts during peak periods when required.
• Full Australian working rights.

Cornerstone Café is one of the busiest food destinations within Bankstown Sports Club, serving hundreds of members and guests each week in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

We are currently seeking a Kitchen Production Cook to join our team on a casual basis.

About the Role

This role is ideal for an experienced cook who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment and takes pride in delivering quality food with consistency.

Working minimum 2-3 days per week, you will support food preparation and production for Cornerstone Café, ensuring products are prepared efficiently and presented to a high standard.

Initial availability is required on Mondays and Thursdays, with the roster expected to transition to Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Additional shifts and hours may be available during peak trading and busy periods.
