Job summary

ALH Hotels is seeking a Kitchen Attendant at our Manly Hotel. The role supports kitchen functionality in a fast-paced environment and rewards proactive teamwork, attention to detail and reliability.

You will handle routine kitchen tasks, assist with food prep and cleaning to meet high safety standards, and contribute to a positive team culture. This is an on-site opportunity with health and wellbeing benefits.

A day in the life of a Kitchen Attendant:

• Engage in food preparation and additional tasks as directed by your team leader
• Proactively identify and address cleaning opportunities in all areas of the kitchen in line with our high food and safety standards
• Contribute positively to our culture of responsibility, which is centred around safety and procedural compliance

What do we need from you

About you:

• You love working independently or as part of a team to perform routine tasks
• You have flexible availability across the day, evenings and weekends
• You are all about the detail and take pride in the work that you deliver
• You’ll be yourself and come as you are - ALH is known for its people!

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands‑on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
