Job summary

Gateway Hotel is seeking a Kitchen Attendant to support kitchen functionality in a fast-paced environment. This hands-on role focuses on dishwashing, food prep assistance, and maintaining high safety standards.

Qualifications

A day in the life of a Kitchen Attendant:

• Engage in food preparation and additional tasks as directed by your team leader
• Proactively identify and address cleaning opportunities in all areas of the kitchen in line with our high food and safety standards
• Contribute positively to our culture of responsibility, which is centred around safety and procedural compliance

About you:

• You love working independently or as part of a team to perform routine tasks (Dishwashing)
• You have flexible availability across the day, evenings and weekends (15 hours per week)
• You are all about the detail and take pride in the work that you deliver
• You’ll be yourself and come as you are - ALH is known for its people!
• Food preparation experience is highly regarded

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
