Job summary

Contemporary Catering is seeking a part-time Food Service Assistant for aged care facilities in the Sydney region. You will serve meals with care, assist in light food preparation, and help set up and clean down service areas. Shifts run 6:30am–8:00pm across all 7 days, with ongoing learning and development opportunities.

Prior hospitality experience is valued but not mandatory. A food safety certificate is recommended, and checks/vaccinations may be required by the facility.

Qualifications

• Prior hospitality experience is valued but not mandatory.
• A certificate in food safety is recommended.
• You may be required to hold a National Police Check or a NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• You must be fully vaccinated (including the COVID-19 booster) where required by the facility.

The role of a Food Service Assistant

in an Aged Care facility is busy as it is rewarding.

You will be required to,

• provide high customer service to residents when serving meals.
• assist with basic food preparation.
• set up for meal service and clean down afterwards etc.

Part-time positions available, and shifts are offered throughout all 7 days to suit your availability from 6:30am to 8:00pm

Prior hospitality experience is highly valued but not mandatory. A certificate in food safety is recommended. Additionally, you may be required to hold a National Police Check or a NDIS Worker Screening Check, as well as be fully vaccinated (including the COVID-19 booster) in accordance with the requirements of the aged care facility at which you work.
