Job summary

Contemporary Catering is a family-owned catering service operating in over 40 locations across Victoria and New South Wales. We are hiring a Food Service Assistant for our aged care facilities, offering part-time shifts from 6:30am to 8:00pm across 7 days, to suit availability.

No mandatory hospitality background, though it's valued. A certificate in food safety is recommended, and you may require a National Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience valued but not required.
• Certificate in food safety recommended.
• National Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening may be required.
• Fully vaccinated including COVID-19 booster per facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide high customer service to residents when serving meals.
• Assist with basic food preparation.
• Set up for meal service and clean down afterwards.

The role of a Food Service Assistant

in an Aged Care facility is busy as it is rewarding.

• provide high customer service to residents when serving meals.

Part-time positions available, and shifts are offered throughout all 7 days to suit your availability from 6:30am to 8:00pm

Prior hospitality experience is highly valued but not mandatory. A certificate in food safety is recommended. Additionally, you may be required to hold a National Police Check or a NDIS Worker Screening Check, as well as be fully vaccinated (including the COVID-19 booster) in accordance with the requirements of the aged care facility at which you work.
