Job summary

Contemporary Catering is seeking a Food Service Assistant to join our team across aged care facilities in Victoria. The role offers part-time shifts from 6:30am to 8:00pm across all seven days, with opportunities for growth within a family-owned business.

Experience in hospitality is valued but not mandatory; a food safety certificate is recommended. You may need police and screening checks, and must be fully vaccinated including the COVID-19 booster as required by the facility.

• May require National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check; need to be fully vaccinated including COVID-19 booster per facility requirements.

Responsibilities

The role of a Food Service Assistant

in an Aged Care facility is busy as it is rewarding.

• provide high customer service to residents when serving meals.

Part-time positions available, and shifts are offered throughout all 7 days to suit your availability from 6:30am to 8:00pm

Prior hospitality experience is highly valued but not mandatory. A certificate in food safety is recommended. Additionally, you may be required to hold a National Police Check or a NDIS Worker Screening Check, as well as be fully vaccinated (including the COVID-19 booster) in accordance with the requirements of the aged care facility at which you work.
