Job summary

Delaware North Australia is hiring a casual Kitchen Attendant at Blacktown Exercise and Technology Hub (BEST) in New South Wales. You will help in keeping the kitchen clean, prepare food, and assist staff while following safety and hygiene standards.

This role offers opportunities to grow within a global hospitality company and work at iconic venues. Applicants with Kitchen Hand experience and a Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain one) are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as Kitchen Hand preferred.
• Food Safety Certificate or willingness to obtain one during onboarding.
• Able to work mornings, days, and nights, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in a commercial kitchen with attractive presentation.
• Keep the kitchen area clean and maintain high hygiene standards.
• Follow WHS guidelines and conduct temperature/quality checks.
• Assist kitchen staff to maintain an organised workspace.
• Perform cleaning tasks including dishwashing and waste management.

As a Kitchen Attendant, you'll be essential in maintaining cleanliness, order, and efficiency in the kitchen, ensuring smooth operations. You’ll also use basic cooking skills and have a strong grasp of kitchen safety practices. What you will do?

More about you

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand is a plus
• Food Safety Certificate or willingness to obtain one during onboarding
