Job summary

Contemporary Catering in Victoria is seeking a Food Service Assistant for part-time roles in aged care facilities. You will help serve meals, assist with basic food preparation, and support residents during dining times.

No extensive experience is required, though prior hospitality work is valued. A food safety certificate is recommended, and some checks (police/NDIS) and vaccination may be required by facilities. Shifts run 6:30am–8:00pm, 7 days a week.

The role of a Food Service Assistant

in an Aged Care facility is busy as it is rewarding.

You will be required to,

• provide high customer service to residents when serving meals.
• assist with basic food preparation.
• set up for meal service and clean down afterwards etc.

Part-time positions available, and shifts are offered throughout all 7 days to suit your availability from 6:30am to 8:00pm

Prior hospitality experience is highly valued but not mandatory. A certificate in food safety is recommended. Additionally, you may be required to hold a National Police Check or a NDIS Worker Screening Check, as well as be fully vaccinated (including the COVID-19 booster) in accordance with the requirements of the aged care facility at which you work.
