Job summary

Belgravia Leisure's Gurri Wanyarra Wellbeing Centre in Bendigo is seeking a friendly Kiosk Attendant to deliver first-class service at the café. You will manage orders, cash handling, and POS, while promoting healthy options and engaging with members and visitors.

Essential requirements include a Food Hygiene Certificate and various checks (Police, Working with Vulnerable People). Barista experience is highly desirable, with morning/evening/weekend shifts available.

Qualifications

• Food Hygiene Certificate is required.
• Police Check is required.
• Working with Vulnerable People is required.
• First Aid Certificate (Workplace Level 2) is required.
• CPR Certificate is required.
• Food Handlers Qualification is required.
• National Police Check and Working with Children checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all customers.
• Maintain the appearance and presentation of the café.
• Replenish condiments as needed.
• Follow health and safety guidelines.
• Cashier experience, taking orders and handling cash.
• Apply sound cash handling principles and use of Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Promote the centre’s services and programs to our patrons.
• Develop and maintain good working relations with patrons.
• Provide information on our product range, including promoting healthy food options.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends. Hours may increase during the centre's peak periods.
• Previous Barista Experience is highly desirable.

The Role

Our Kiosk Attendants need to have the highest level of customer service skills.

The primary responsibility of our Kiosk Attendants is to deliver first class services to our patrons ensuring it's in line with our Mission, Vision and Values.
