Job summary

Kenmore District Kindergarten & Preschool in Brisbane seeks a Diploma-qualified Early Childhood Educator to support learning, development and wellbeing within a nurturing setting. You will collaborate with a team, adapt to various classrooms, and build strong relationships with children, families and educators to maintain a safe, inclusive learning space.

Flexible relief shifts may be available. A current Working with Children Check and EYLF understanding are required to contribute effectively

Qualifications

• Diploma/qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent.
• Current Working with Children Check (and other checks as required).
• Experience in an early childhood setting is desirable.
• Strong understanding of EYLF and child-centred learning.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and educators.

About you

Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent approved qualification)

Current Working with Children Check (and any other relevant checks required in your state/territory)

Experience working in an early childhood education setting is highly desirable

Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and child-centred learning practices

Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and educators

Confidence working as part of a team and adapting to different classroom environments
