Job summary

The Children’s Hospital Foundation is seeking a Kidzone Support Officer to help deliver child‑facing entertainment and distraction programs in the Kidzone playroom at Queensland Children’s Hospital. This casual position runs 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with additional support during busy periods.

Qualifications

1–2 years’ experience in a similar role or industry.
Ability to follow processes with high level of detail.
Excellent time management and prioritisation in a fast-paced environment.
Strong customer service and people skills with professional demeanour.
Confidentiality and privacy awareness.
Experience with volunteers.

Responsibilities

Lead volunteers and families in Kidzone and Loans digital signin/out systems for records management.
Ensure Kidzone child supervision is delivered within care restrictions.
Coordinate daily play, resource loans and birthday present requests, ensuring timely facilitation.
Assist the Impact Programs team with setup and pack down for Christmas events.
