YMCA Queensland is seeking an Assistant Coordinator for the YMCA East Brisbane OSHC, on a permanent part-time basis. The role supports the Coordinator with daily operations, leads programming, and mentors staff to deliver safe, engaging care for children.

You will help maintain compliance, engage with families and schools, and contribute to a positive, inclusive environment across the service.

Formación

• Diploma or equivalent in Children’s Services, ECEC or Teaching (or studying towards).
• Experience in planning and delivering child-led play-based programming.
• Experience with administration and coordination tasks.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• A valid Paid Blue Card and current First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain).
• Familiarity with the National Quality Framework (NQF).

About The Role

We are seeking a capable and motivated Assistant Coordinator to join our team at YMCA East Brisbane Outside School Hours Care on a permanent part time basis. You’ll play a key role in supporting the Coordinator with day-to-day operations, lead programming, and help guide a passionate team in delivering safe, fun, and enriching care for children.

What You’ll Bring

• A commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all children
