Job summary

The YMCA Queensland is seeking an Assistant Coordinator for Helensvale OSHC on a permanent part-time basis. You will support the Coordinator with day-to-day operations, lead play-based programming, and guide a team to deliver safe, enriching care for children.

You'll work with families, schools and the local community, ensuring compliance and smooth administration while fostering a caring, inclusive environment that reflects our values.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children’s Services or teaching qualification.
• Experience in children's programming and administration.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily running of the service.
• Assist with child-led, play-based programming.
• Provide guidance to educators and assist staffing needs.
• Maintain compliance and support administration processes.
• Engage positively with children, families and the local community.
