Job summary

Cleanaway, Australia’s leader in sustainable waste management, seeks a seasoned Key Account Manager to retain and grow mid-market portfolios and expand service usage across Cleanaway offerings. Based in Malaga, Perth CBD, WA, you will influence retention, profitability and long-term partnerships through collaboration with operations, finance and customer service teams.

You will develop strategic relationships, manage CRM and reporting, and leverage tender processes to drive commercial decisions

Qualifications

• Experienced in a commercial or industrial B2B Key Account Management role.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer service capability in a complex environment.
• Proven negotiation, presentation and tender response experience.
• Commercial acumen with experience growing revenue within existing customer portfolios.
• Tertiary qualification in Business or related discipline is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Grow portfolio value through contract optimisation, pricing discipline and customer retention activities.

The Opportunity

Based in Malaga, Perth CBD, WA, the Key Account Manager is responsible for retaining and growing a portfolio of mid-market customers by delivering high-quality account management, strengthening contract value and expanding the use of Cleanaway services. You will directly influence customer retention, profitable growth and long-term customer partnerships.

About you

You are an experienced B2B account management professional with strong commercial judgement, stakeholder management capability and a track record of growing existing customer portfolios.

• Demonstrated experience in a commercial or industrial B2B Key Account Management role.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer service capability in a complex environment.
• Proven negotiation, presentation and tender response experience.
• Commercial acumen with experience growing revenue within existing customer portfolios.
• Tertiary qualification in Business or a related discipline is desirable.
• Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications.
