Job summary

Kingfisher Bay Resort on K’gari is seeking a Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team across our restaurants, bars and event spaces. You will own your section, maintain food quality, and support senior kitchen leadership in a busy island resort environment.

You'll train junior team members, ensure stock control and presentation standards, and help deliver memorable dining experiences for guests from around the world.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role.
• Experience in a high-volume resort, hotel or commercial kitchen.
• Strong organisation, communication and time management skills.
• A passion for quality food and guest experiences.

About the Role

You'll play an important role in delivering quality dining experiences across Kingfisher Bay Resort's restaurants, bars and event spaces while supporting the day-to-day leadership of kitchen operations. Working alongside a talented culinary team, you'll take ownership of your section, maintain food quality and presentation standards, support junior team members and help ensure smooth kitchen operations during service. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef looking to build leadership experience within a large resort environment.
