Job summary

Kingfisher Bay Resort in Queensland is seeking a Chef de Partie to lead their section across a large resort kitchen, delivering quality dining experiences for guests on K’Gari. You will manage service, maintain presentation standards and support a busy culinary team.

The role offers leadership development in an iconic island setting, with opportunities to train junior staff, ensure food safety, and contribute to menus across restaurants, bars and events while enjoying staff benefits and travel

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role.
• Experience in a high-volume resort, hotel or commercial kitchen.
• Strong organisation, communication and time management skills.
• Passion for quality food and exceptional guest experiences.

About the Role

You'll play an important role in delivering quality dining experiences across Kingfisher Bay Resort's restaurants, bars and event spaces while supporting the day-to-day leadership of kitchen operations.

Working alongside a talented culinary team, you'll take ownership of your section, maintain food quality and presentation standards, support junior team members and help ensure smooth kitchen operations during service. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef looking to build leadership experience within a large resort environment.
