Job summary

Jungheinrich Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Junior Warehouse Equipment Automation Specialist in Sydney to support growth of the Equipment & Automation capability across Australia and New Zealand. You will assist with enquiries, prepare layouts, proposals and presentations, and coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal teams.

The role requires experience in materials handling, a relevant qualification, 1-4 years in a technical/commercial environment, and a proactive, collaborative mindset

Qualifications

• Experience in materials handling industry
• Qualification in Business, Technology, Engineering, Warehouse Solutions, Automation or a related field
• 1-4 years relevant experience in a related technical or commercial environment
• Exposure to warehouse equipment, automation, warehouse solutions or material handling would be advantageous
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Proactive, collaborative and eager to develop technical and commercial knowledge
• Willingness to travel across Australia and New Zealand when required

Responsibilities

• Supporting racking, warehouse equipment and entry-level automation opportunities
• Assisting with customer enquiries, requirements and solution concepts
• Preparing basic warehouse layouts, proposals, quotations and presentations
• Conducting market research and supplier benchmarking
• Coordinating with customers, suppliers and internal teams
• Supporting customer meetings and site visits
• Developing knowledge across Jungheinrich's warehouse equipment and automation portfolio
