Job summary

Freightquip is seeking a Sales Representative / Junior Business Development Manager to build a career in technical sales across Australia and New Zealand. You will learn from experienced leaders while gradually taking ownership of your own customers, opportunities and targets.

You will engage in prospecting, customer engagement, quotations and proposals, and work with OEMs to deliver practical equipment solutions. A genuine path to a full BDM role awaits driven individuals.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, account management, customer service, or business development.
• Confident communication and ability to build professional relationships.
• Commercial awareness and ability to understand purchasing decisions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new sales opportunities across Freightquip's target markets.
• Research prospective customers, projects and market opportunities.
• Undertake outbound prospecting and lead generation.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers.
• Attend customer meetings, site visits and industry events.
• Understand customer requirements and develop suitable equipment solutions.
• Prepare and follow up quotations, proposals and commercial offers.
• Collaborate with OEM partners to obtain pricing and technical information.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and CRM records.
