Responsibilities

• Assist with unloading freight and cross-referencing packing slips with stock for accuracy and damage.
• Pick, pack and label customer orders for courier dispatch, wrapping heavy items securely.
• Put away stock and participate in regular stocktakes and cycle counts.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse floor in line with WHS guidelines.
• Collaborate with the team to hit daily turnaround targets and communicate stock levels.

As a Junior Storeperson, you will assist with the daily intake, storage, and dispatch of an extensive range of construction hardware and accessories. This is a physically active, entry-level role perfect for someone looking to build a career in warehousing and supply chain management. You will receive extensive, hands-on on-the-job training covering safety protocols, product identification, and warehouse computer systems.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with unloading incoming freight shipments and cross-reference packing slips with physical stock to ensure accuracy and check for any material damage.
• Pick, pack, and label customer orders accurately for standard courier dispatch, ensuring heavy fasteners and car park items are securely wrapped.
• Put away stock into designated warehouse locations and participate in regular stocktakes and cycle counts to prevent material shortages.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse floor in compliance with standard Work Health and Safety (WHS) guidelines.
• Work alongside the wider team to hit daily turnaround targets and maintain strong communication on stock levels.

About you

• High physical stamina; comfortable standing for long periods and manually handling heavy construction hardware.
• Strong attention to detail, basic computer literacy, and reliable verbal communication skills.
• A current manual driver's licence and reliable transport to Campbelltown are preferred.
• A forklift licence (LF) is highly valued but not mandatory.
• Must hold valid permanent residency or citizenship with full Australian work rights.
