Job summary

Sydney Tools Garbutt Store in Townsville region seeks an experienced Storeperson to support warehouse and retail operations. You will operate a forklift, receive and dispatch stock, pick and pack orders, and maintain store housekeeping while delivering friendly customer service.

Applicants must have a forklift LF licence, strong attention to detail, good communication and a positive attitude, with a view to developing a long-term career in a growing national retailer.

Qualifications

• Must have forklift experience and LF license.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in stock handling.
• Clear communication with customers and team members.
• Positive can-do attitude and readiness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Forklift operation (loading & unloading trucks).
• Receiving & Dispatching stock.
• Picking and packing orders.
• Maintaining and housekeeping of warehouse and store.
• Customer service (face to face and Telephone).
• Merchandising and stock replenishment.
• Be available to work every second Saturday (shorter day)
