Hunter 4x4 Accessories is seeking a motivated Junior Sales Consultant to join its team in Maitland. You will help customers select 4WD accessories, prepare quotes and orders, and coordinate installations while gaining hands-on experience in a busy workshop environment.

Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to learn about 4WD products. A current driver’s licence and a genuine interest in 4WD vehicles are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with 4WD accessories would be advantageous.
• Retail or sales experience is helpful.
• Good communication and customer service skills required.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn sales and inventory systems.
• Team player with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in-store, over the phone and online.
• Advise on 4WD accessories and vehicle applications.
• Prepare quotes and process sales orders.
• Follow up on quotes and orders.
• Coordinate vehicle installations and liaise with suppliers.
• Receive and check stock and manage warehouse duties.

JUNIOR SALES CONSULTANT – 4WD ACCESSORIES

Hunter 4x4 Accessories is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Sales Consultant to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in the 4WD and automotive industry who wants to build their knowledge and develop a career in 4WD accessory sales.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Working as part of our sales team, you will assist customers with selecting the right accessories and solutions for their vehicles, prepare quotes and orders, and help coordinate jobs through our workshop.

The position will also include partial warehouse duties, giving you hands‑on exposure to the products we sell and install.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting customers in-store, over the phone and through online enquiries

• Providing advice on 4WD accessories, products and vehicle applications

• Preparing customer quotes and processing sales orders

• Following up quotes, enquiries and customer orders

• Assisting with booking and coordinating vehicle accessory installations

• Liaising with suppliers regarding products, pricing and availability

• Receiving and checking incoming stock

• Picking and preparing products and customer orders

• Maintaining stock organisation and general warehouse presentation

• Assisting with stocktakes and inventory control

• Working closely with our sales, warehouse and workshop teams

• Maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and willing to learn.

Ideally, you will have:

• Knowledge of 4WDs, automotive accessories and aftermarket products

• Previous experience within the 4WD, automotive, parts or accessories industry is highly regarded

• Previous retail or sales experience is advantageous

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Basic computer skills and confidence learning sales and inventory systems

• Good attention to detail

• The ability to work effectively as part of a team

• A willingness to assist with warehouse and stock‑handling duties

• A current driver's licence

• A genuine interest in 4WD vehicles and the automotive industry

Knowledge of products such as bull bars, suspension, winches, driving lights, canopies, roof racks, towing equipment, UHF radios, recovery equipment and touring accessories would be an advantage.
